Two things:

1) Tonight for dinner I made roasted sweet potatoes and cous cous with artichoke hearts, onions, and fake chicken strips. This is the nicest dinner I have made for myself in quite a while.

I need a new hobby that doesn't break my heart. Thirty-two years of experience have now proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that pop music and sports don't cut it. Does anyone here have any experience with needlepoint?

I'm in Massachusetts. I'm trying to keep my head up, and I know things will inevitably get better as soon as I'm immersed in work (which is soon), but my god, this is a lot tougher than I thought it would be. And I didn't think it would be easy.

Watching the US play soccer is like neverending bad sex. I don't think I've actually ever had neverending bad sex, but I'm pretty sure this is what it would be like.
