Where has all the Garb gone?

I couldn't figure out how, over the last few years, I seem to have had a massive garb attrition.

I know I bounced from size 12 to 22 in about three years (age 22 to 25) , so all of that small garb went... then I went from 22 to 16 in about two years (25 to 27), then back up to 20 and back down to 16 then to 18ish (now).

So there was a lot of giving

I am hoping not to have a repeat of the bee issue from that year... What was it threee of you sung by them?

At least I was not wearing my kilt so I was not stung in my nether regions. :)

The bee/wasp traps at the camp common tent seem to help. I think I'm going to buy one of those for the Dragoons camp. That way, they have something to fly after that isn't me.

I think putting it on a shepard's hook off to one side of the common area might work. I'll have to try it and see.

I have an epi-pen now, just in case I have my first ever REALLY NASTY ALLERGIC REACTION (tm).

My first question is "my Bri or CM's Bri"?
I've recently questioned where my garb has gone, and I don't even have the weight swings to account for reasons to give stuff away (just the all purpose reason of "I know better now" that Thjora tends to get me with).
Drea solved the "no doublet to wear over spiffy corset" by wearing a cassock overtop of the spiffy corset w/ Elizabethan shirt. Eventually I'm sure there will be a doublet made, but until then, there's a cassock. I think... Either that or she tried that and didn't end up doing that... Not sure :-/

They've both been MY Bri, though I guess Bri O'D is more 'Mine' now... since she is household, local, and a best friend.

Anyway, it's a really pretty purple cotton brocade that she got from aldis_g, I think. I have about 5 1/2 yards of the 'dyes very well' white version of the fabric. (I'm thinking either a ropa, or an egyptian tunic or two.)

I love the fact that you have a pair of pants that you've labeled "emergency pants"

*laughing* I bought them last year at Sapphire Joust (Memorial Day Weekend) because I didn't have anything else I could wear. I had lent my other pants to a friend and forgot to make a new pair.

So I bought these cheap poly-cotton baggy pants for $25. I figure the material and elastic would cost about $5 and the time to make them would be about an hour, so it was worth it, but a little expensive for the item.

However since they are POLY-cotton, I deemed them to only be used in case of an emergency. :)

Kinda like, Mistress Ceridwen last week calling Dante her "Break glass in case of emergency" Marshal. She was only go to pull him out to smack people with if they got out of hand.
