So, the surgery wasn't needed, thank god. I found out that I have an irregularly shaped uterus, which may have contributed to the loss of the pregnancy. I have to have some more tests/procedures done in the next fews months to try and rectify the problem before I try and get pregnant again. last night my husband got me drunk and made me laugh a lot. we ate pizza and drank champagne (to our future children and to each other) out of our fancy wedding flutes. we watched the lord of the rings: two towers and talked about who we have on our 'celebrity one night stand' lists. I went to my first pre-natal dr's appt. today. I knew something was wrong when the Dr. repeatedly asked me during the sonogram when my last period was. I was sent back to the waiting room after being told that he was having a hard time seeing the fetus (it can happen with women like me who are carrying a few extra pounds around their mid-section) ( Read more... )
