I've been on a baking and cooking spree lately, and decided I needed to throw in a breakfast item. So I made coffee cake.

Hello there... I'm new in this community, and even myself I'm not a vegetarian yet, though I'm making the change gradually...
I'm at the office, and completely craving for your Cake! I LOVE apple cake, and if it has coffee in it, the better!
I'll do this recipe during the weekend, and will tell you later how it worked out.
Thanks for sharing!
(it looks so yummy!)

It doesn't actually have coffee :( lol. Coffee Cake is a breakfast cake you eat with coffee. I'm not sure if they call it coffee cake outside of the States.

But definitely tell me when you make it!

Yes, you're right!! I got that, but didn't said it properly, hahaha! I'm not an English native, and apparently I still have some problems communicating exactly what I want to say! I've read and translated the whole recipe, to have a list with all the ingredients I'm going to buy before arriving home.
I wanted to say that if it's called something related to Coffee, it's even better than just a cake called Apple Cake (like if it's more mysterious or something ;)
I once tried to do an apple cake (invented) and it was horrible. I won't fail this time with your recipe! =)

This sounds really good. I'm going to try it next time I get a chance to bake something.

I tried it, and it didn't work out so well for me. :( It never really baked properly, or developed a crumb structure-- it was just kind of doughy. Was yours similar?

I did the first time I made this, but I had used more liquid and less baking powder than this time. And I was using baking powder than was expired the first time, do you think that was it?
