Yeah, you're right. In Sonic Youth he's pretty much stuck in the background. But I like to think that he's still awesome in his free time...

book recommendations - i second sarah's, and i know this is going to be boring of me, but i recommend a jonathan safran foer sandwich of everthing is illuminated and extremely loud & incredibly close. also i just read the wanting seed by anthony burgess and it was really good. also, one hundred years of solitude. also, rereading the wayside school books. also, geek love by nora dunn. also, the feast of love by charles baxter.

but mostly this is, HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEW FIVE PART R KELLY EPIC "trapped in the closet" ?!?! to be fair i've only heard parts one and two but they're the sweetest ever.
