Finally, finally, finally confirmed travel plans for Bonnaroo. What I need now is a few books to read in the car. So basically, tell me about the book that absolutely changed your life and why.

Also, if anyone has any audiobooks on their computers or on CD or whatever, I'd love a hook up. Thanks!

I got a suggestion for you -- you lost lamb, you -- how bout the HOLY BIBLE?

(I keed, I keed.)

I recommend comedy CDs, especially Mitch Hedberg, if you don't have it already.

Book: The Secret Life of Bees, by Sue Monk Kidd.

How it changed my life: It's beautiful written, and shows how we grieve in stages, and how to move on with your life shown through the story of a fourteen year old girl.

none of this is probably really bonnaroo reading. maybe "the doors of perception" would be better. rcknrll June 3 2005, 23:20:46 UTC
"left behind."

but the books i actually like to read are like, "the ethical slut," "real life nude girl," "PoMo-sexuals," misc 'feminist' books about sex/porn (um like.. "intercourse" is pretty interesting) and also everything jane austen has ever written.
