I was flipping through channels on the television and I paused on the travel channel and it's one of those programs where the camera crew goes along on a house hunting venture. They were in a room looking at the closet and the first thing I heard was, "Yeah, this is a great closet. It could be good for your guns or your bibles." It wasn't a joke

If I had guns and bibles, I think I would most likely be using the guns to shoot the bibles. That might be quite fun and gives me more incentive to take Gideon's* Bibles from hotels.

That makes me sound so un-librarian-like, shooting books, but seriouly, it has to be the most copied book in the world. One woman shooting two dozen bibles isn't going to eradicate the bible from our culture. But that would be nice, eh?
