The past couple of days have been absolutely beautiful autumn days. There's not a cloud in the sky, and the tress are splashed in a breathtaking array of vibrant shades that I thought only existed in paintings. Every year I seem to forget just how amazing autumn is, and every time that it rolls around it never ceases to surprise me with all of the ( Read more... )

If you have any free time, you should definitely check out the show! I've been really into their new CD lately, so I think I might just be able to forgive them for their "drunken forgetting the words" performance here in South Bend. ;-) I definitely think it was just a fluke, and they probably put on a decent show when they're not high/drunk whatever they were.

*sends veilchemy a giant birthday crown* :)

also, i keep meaning to give you a "yay" for catching erin's show in south bend. i have a brother at notre dame, and i didn't even bother emailing him about it, because i know he's so riled up about football nonsense that he wouldn't even care. bah.

Haha, thanks for the birthday crown. ;-)

Oh, Notre Dame and their football. ::::sighs::: It's nearly impossible to go anywhere near Notre Dame on football weekends here - a drive that would normally take about 30 minutes can end up taking upwards of 2 hours. It's totally crazy....But yeah, Erin's show was great, even though I almost wasn't allowed in. : / I don't know what kind of music your brother's into, but you might want to give him the heads up that Legends has been bringing in all kinds of cool indie singer-songwriters lately, so he may want to keep an eye out for interesting shows.

The whole thing *was* wonderful while it lasted. But as I sit here looking out my window, the world outside looks as if somebody swiped a giant paintbrush full of black/grey watercolors over everything. So now it's kind of the cold/grey/rainy autumn that I knew would eventually show up. I just didn't know it would show up so soon! : /

Awwww, you're sweet - yeah, my birthday was on the 15th. And thanks for the mp3 offer, maybe I'll take you up on an mp3 trade sometime. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and that there's still some nice weather around where you live. :-)
