Jason recommended some books for me to read and so the other day I went to the bookstore and purchased one of them. It is called 'Blue Like Jazz' by Donald Miller. I read two chapters today, most people would read this book and not even realize it's a Christian book, it's very true and earthy but so far gives a very clear picture of Christ and life ( Read more... )

Ugh! I'm so sick of walking into stores to shop and not a thing in the whole womens section fitting me. Today I bought a 32" TV for my soon-to-be apartment. It's so big and I only spent $30 on it!! Now all I need is a DVD or VCR of it. you never know what's going to happen with the weather here in Tulsa... yesterday before the storms it was in the 90s with heat index over 100. Then all of a sudden there is blinding rain and hail. It stays pretty nice today in the 80s with heat index in the 90s. Tonight I come out of worship and it's almost cold... it's in the low 70s-high 60s ( Read more... )

Today I was on my way home from work and down came the rain. Soon my windshield was blinded by the water beating down upon it. Then came the hail. That was nice. The lightening was beautiful though.
