Every day he walks from Kahalui to Lahaina, or sometimes from Lahaina to Kihei. He is worn, weathered, and very much a part of Maui. He appears to be in good health. A painting I've had in a gallery (Viewpoints in Makawao) for just three days sold for 750.00! I know, in the scheme of things this is chump change, and I just get a cut of it, but boy does it feel good. I'll try not to let it get to my head, but I really feel like I'm on a roll.

I didn't realize I was buying a talking tampon when I scooped up the box off of the feminine products shelf at the grocery store.
