I've finally found a place for techno music. the subway. i have a 40 minute commute to work and techno (or house, trance, electronica whatever you kids call it nowadays) is the best stuff to listen to on the trains. woohoo! I found a new route to work. I know that's not exciting to you guys at all but, I'm pretty thrilled. It takes me about 50 minutes to get to work on the subway and I'm underground the whole time so it's pretty boring. I made it to the next spelling bee round!! only nine people were there and the words were pretty mild as far as difficulty. the only one that really tripped me up was "Jacquard" which is some kind of fabric. i almost spelt it without the "c"...whew. the next bee is in 2 weeks! how do i study up? well its off to flea market for now.

I've joined the Williamsburg Spelling Bee!! When I first heard about it i thought it was only for little kids but it's actually being held at this awesome bar in brooklyn called Pete's Candy Store and you have to be 21 and over.
