“Why Jaejoong-hyung? Whyyyy?” groaned Junsu, flopping head-first onto his mattress. By the end of the day, the brunette was left with yet another catastrophic experience to add to his memories. He smothered his face deep into his favorite purple elephant plushie, hoping he could possibly kill himself by asphyxiation.

His best friend merely followed him into the bedroom and sat on a corner of the bed. He was fully aware that Junsu could probably kick him off with all that thrashing.

“He wronged you,” said Jaejoong with a nonchalant shrug.

“Nnnnn!” Junsu whined pitifully, squirming in a mess.

His mind raced back to Changmin’s bemused expression when he snatched the scandalous love letter out of Junsu’s hands.

How that hot, luscious man glowered at him so sexily and titillating…

Please say this whole day was just a dream, pleaded Junsu to the rising gods of the east. He shook his head while he continued to roll around pathetically. Irritated from the bumpy motions, Jaejoong smacked his dongsaeng’s plump bottom. He raised a dark eyebrow at the way the said ‘plump bottom’ swayed.

“You have a jiggly ass,” commented Jaejoong.

Junsu flushed a bright crimson. He jolted straight up to twist around and face Jaejoong with Mr. Purple Elephant still clutched in his arms. “Don’t make fun of me, hyung!”

Jaejoong chuckled, stroking Junsu’s mop of auburn hair. “I was complimenting you.”

“Yah. How would you feel if someone called your butt jiggly, huh?” retorted Junsu. “Junho’s already teased me so many times…”

“Hn.” Ignoring Junsu’s question, he asked, “Where is Junho, anyways?”

“He’s training with some baseball team in America. My mom used to rant about that for hours, since she wanted him to keep attending school,” answered Junsu.

He suddenly froze.

School… Oh gawd. School. Junsu shoved Jaejoong off his bed, burying himself into his mountain of blankets.

“I’m not going to school tomorrow. No way,” protested Junsu, his voice muffled by blankets and pillows.

“What about your mom?”

“…”

“You sure you want to go through another beating like last time?”

Junsu fidgeted underneath the sheets. Eventually he gave a defeated sigh. He could never win against his mother.

Damn it!

Damn it!

Junsu knew today would start off bad.

Everyone, and he meant everyone, in school kept staring at him as if he were some extinct animal come back to life. It was not very often that a guy would confess to Shim Changmin lest approach him. Despite the vast, infinite amount of male students who went gaga over Changmin, no one dared approach him. After all, who would ever deem themselves worthy of that magical god? There was also his rabid fanclub they had to worry about.

Junsu sighed for the umpteenth time as he walked through the hallway full of curious eyes.

Shim Changmin had never shown any romantic interest towards anyone. As far as Junsu knew, Changmin could be dating some top-notch model slash wealthy daughter of a successful corporation.

He nearly punched himself after waking up this morning. The brunette could not believe how foolish he was! Why did he even think of confessing?

“Well if it isn’t Kim Junsu!” hollered a high-pitched voice.

Ugh.

Junsu knew that voice. He looked behind him and turned around to give his brightest smile. “Lee Bongcha.”

“So I heard you were actually dumb enough to give a letter to my Changminnie,” sneered the President of Shim Changmin’s fanclub. She had always known about Junsu’s massive crush on Changmin, but she never thought that he’d have the guts to do something about it. Even though he was no competition, Bongcha wanted nothing more than to push Kim Junsu further down the drain of disgrace.

Junsu merely maintained his smile, hoping that she’d simply float away like a piece of dead leaf.

“What? Now you’re deaf, too?”

His stance twitched.

“Um…”

Nevertheless, his uncomfortable situation didn’t last for long because Jaejoong, being the heroic savior he was, came to the rescue. The older man swiftly moved to Junsu’s right side and glared down at the infuriating girl. “Do we know you? Get a life. Stop talking to strangers.”

Bongcha gasped, scrunching her nose up in a very unattractive way. With a huff, she strode ahead of them feverishly, arms swinging back and forth like sledgehammers on her sides.

Everyone knew better than to pick a fight with Shinhwa’s strongest fighter.

Yup. That’s right. School rebel and punk - this was Kim Jaejoong. He didn’t go easy on anyone, except for Junsu, who was the only one that knew about Jaejoong’s strange habits and tender heart. Junsu found it ridiculous that everybody avoided Jaejoong. The man had to be the kindest person he had ever met. He admit that it was a little intimidating , at first, talking to Jaejoong, but after awhile, the cold façade the blonde man wore melted away to nothing but warmth and gentleness. If it wasn’t for Changmin, Junsu might have considered deeper feelings for Jaejoong…

But no one wins against Shim Changmin, thought Junsu, happily, as he walked in the direction of the cafeteria. As usual, Jaejoong tagged along, his presence scaring away nosy students.

“I’ll go get our lunches,” said Jaejoong. “Find us seats.”

Junsu pouted when Jaejoong left just like that. Now he was alone again. Greeaaaat.

He scanned the entirety of the cafeteria, trying to find an empty table. He knew Jaejoong liked his space. And of course, he was relieved that Changmin never ate in the lunch room. It would be horrible, terrible, dreadful, petrifying to eat with Changmin only a few of yards away from him. Facing the school was bad enough. Changmin seeing him again? That would be his death. He figured he’d just revert back to his old stalkerish (not that he’d admit it) ways, spying on the flawless man whenever he could and fanboying to Jaejoong. At least until he graduated.

Junsu grinned when he spotted some students readying themselves to leave. With his awesome ninja skills, he quickly called dibs on the table after the group headed off.

“Over here, hyung!” exclaimed Junsu, cheerfully, ten minutes later when he recognized Jaejoong’s approaching figure, the latter making weird movements.

He tilted his head confusedly at his friend’s odd waving gestures.

Then a shadow loomed over him.

A very tall shadow.

Oh no no no no no.

Junsu continued to gawk at Jaejoong in fear until a smothering hot, wicked voice uttered his name.

Nuuuuuuuuu.

Hesitantly, the brunette spun around to meet familiar muddy brown eyes once again.

Shim Changmin.

And that stupid love letter.

Shit.

TBC…

A/N: I’m sorry for making Junsu so overdramatic in here. lol He might become more calm in the later chapters if I continue writing. Might. XD I also apologize for not including JaeMin’s fight scene and jotting down a pretty much useless chapter. hahaha
