Thank you for finishing. I have been forcing myself not check for updates hoping you would do something like this. I did like the explaination from Mycroft in 11 and glad that Sherlock helped him out at the coffee shop, especially after parading him around the block. Here is to Sherlock's and John's future - hopefully long and satisfying and happy ( well as they get).
Maybe Mycrofts macinations will lead to abolishment eventually. I think it ends with hope - perfection is overrated.

Were you the Prompter! Oh yay! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. It did take a whole lot longer than I was thinking it would to finish.

I was XP I was expecting maybe a little snippet and when it was a huge-- full length-- epic story by you I nearly fainted ^_^ It's been an awesome journey and more than I could have ever asked for!

Well, this didn't turn out as satisfying as I hoped it would, but considering how messy the situation was, it was as satisfying as I could reasonably make it, without pulling a true deus ex machina out of my ass.
Yeah, but Chapter 11 went completely in a direction I wasn't expecting... and was much cooler than my projections, LOL.

Hurrah! for your fic, and for finishing it!

Which direction were you expecting? I'm glad you liked the way it actually went.

Oh my God, my emotions... friggin emotional roller-coaster. I feel drained. Lol. I love your fic so much. So glad it ended on a light/fluffy note. Your writing is completely amazing, and the way you've portrayed everyone in this just blew me away. I will most likely come back just to read it all over again. I'm completely jealous! You're one of the great ones that could finish a fic without leaving loose-ends (that I could come up with anyway).
Amazing job!

I can't imagine a better ending to this. I thought perhaps you would have Mycroft remove the collar as a reward for John saving Sherlock, but I thought that was going to be really predictable and trite. I'm so glad you didn't. I LOVED this ending. It was fantastic. The entire fic was fantastic. I actually had to go look up my livejournal password just to be able to comment here, since this (and Chameleon) are the only reasons I ever open LJ, haha.

Thanks so much for this ♥

Yay! Yeah, you are right. I really couldn't do that. If it was reversible the pursuit of reversing it would have trumped everything else. Either that or it'd be an asspull out of no where that kind of made everything John went through pointless.

Thank you so much for commenting.
