Since Memories are so troublesome, I thought I'd make a separate master list of fics, for everyone's convenience, especially mine.

...How do you make a master list--that you can update--of fic that will stay at the very top? *drool* I would REALLY like to know how...hopefully it's a fairly simple process....

You have to backdate or it won't let you post any more entries.

The backdate button is right under the "tags" section. And yes I HIGHLY encourage people to make these archieve posts -- they aren't that difficult and they are damn convienient and unlike memories, they function!

There is no shame in writing weird-ass pairings. If it doesn't float some peoples boat, whatever. Nothing you write will please everyone. The trick is to come up with a believeable backstory and if you can put a bit of humor in it, so much the better.

Gaffie here, and since GAFF is in the state it is, I decided I'd post my response here.

You know, I just think I'm going to follow this statement whenever I get a "Strange" pairing in my head to write.

I've run upon some of your fics before and I have to say, the House of Smex stories are some of the most amusing FMA fanfictions I've run across, but now that you have all your other fanfictions posted up on here, I'm going to have to run through all of them.

Anything over PG though is going to have to be read on my own personal computer though. ;)

I'd suggest you wait and read even the PG fics on your personal computer -- they tend to be twisted. Oh and heed the warnings, they are there for a reason ( ... )

I read your rant, and saved it. I think it has a great message towards fanfiction writers. Truth be told, I've been guilty of it a few times so hopefully I'll think back to that before I go on a rant about how so and so would never get together.

As you said, its how one pulls it off. While I'm pretty sure that I have to work on my skills a bit (aka a lot) before I can successfully convince the reader that so and so would work, it won't stop me from trying.

Oh yeah, I know those PG ones can be twisted, and I can only wonder what happens when someone who has never read your stories clicks on it.

I love GAFF dearly as well, been on there for quite some time, but goddamn! Between the Prentious Bitch thread, Board Messages, tastes that have been set to black and white, and endless amount of Sue stories being considered GA (I hear a debate on what is and what's not GA coming up!) I've been increasinly frustrated with GAFF.

But I know I'll be back.
