The train from Galway to Dublin was delayed for 45 minutes because we had to wait for the other train to go by. The only places where there is more than one track apparently is at the stations. What a pain in the arse. I found out that my hotel is not exactly in Dublin but in a place a few miles north called Swords. It seems like a quite little ( Read more... )

Friday night was rather depressing. There's a building near the mouth of the river called the Spanish Arch. It was built in the 1400's or something to protect the traders from Spain. There was a vigil there for all the victims of the Madrid bombing. There were about 2000 people there and lots of them had candles and we had a 5 minute silence at ( Read more... )
