give it a bit! i know this i was in a completely different situation, but i broke up with dancole long long ago (lol, that sounds so weird -_-). i thought i'd never talk to him again, but in the end we still do. even if you don't date again, i know you two will definitely still be great friends.

either way just give it time. decide what you want and see where it goes from there. everything will turn out alright :)
