So, there's some stuff that I've been thinking about, from Superman Returns. ( But I'm cutting it, because all this blather WILL spoil the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Besides, it'll be here after you see the movie. ) -

I went to see Superman Returns last night at the Westwood Village Theater, and let me tell you, that movie rocked. I thought it was a great sequel to the first two Superman movies, with just enough of the personal drama that Brian Singer brings to his movies. Now, I'm sure this comes as a total shock to everyoe out there, but I'm a fan of The Daily Show. I know, it surprised me too. But one of my favorite parts of TDS is when Stephen colbert and Jon Stewart work so hard to get each other to crack and laugh on-air.

Last night, I got dragged went with some co-workers to go bowling. ("to bowl" just doesn't sound right.) Yes, it was my first time bowling, ever.

The Glendale News Press published a list of GCC professors retiring this year. Among them: Angelo Montante.
He was seriously one of the best professors they had.
Also on the list: Susan Brinkmeyer, Phyllis Hoover, Paul Dozois, Desmond Kilkeary, Gail Cloutier, and Lola Taylor.
Not on the list (but should be): Rick Williams and whats-her-bucket -
