Get your head out of your ass and let people deal with this how they need too. It's not about us failing or winning, it's about what is right. Just because someone is expressing sadness or depression does not mean they have given up and are just going to let the matter waste away. It's a crappy blow for ones self esteem to feel like they are part of a state that is so open minded and accepting of their differences and then to suddenly have that be ripped away and be told they are a second class citizen

The only problem with that, is so many people are giving up on it, for every person I've seen want to do something I get all these damn LJ posts and Myspace comments, saying how this is the end. They are hold a damn vigil for the death of equality for christ's sake. If I even saw one person say that this was only the beginning, and that they were pushing to have things set right, then I might have reacted differently.

But I haven't seen that.

I can only hope to fuel the fire in some people, because right now I see it dying before my eyes.

You should have come to the "vigil"..... there were ALOT of angry people, ALOT of those who want to get shit done. NO ONE there was ready to give up without a fight, believe me.... my throat will be sore for days *hehe*
