Ya know. There is always some small pride in often being able to predict events with amazing accuracy.

But when the results are usually negative, not that much!

I have this amazing ability too. It really can be lousy.

Best thing to do is take your worldliness, wisdom, and start figuring out how to either change the course of a situation, or preemptively not put yourself in a place where you ever have to go down the course.

Oh and also- leave room for people to surprise you. I find it happens more often when you aren't *certain* that everything will fail.
