You know, a band called "The Pretentious Fucks" would be a big hit, I predict.

Because indie rockers just love irony. They love irony so much that they do things that one would do ordinarily to be ironic, only they aren't being ironic, they are being dead serious, which makes it even more ironic, and then they sometimes call themselves "post-ironic." How pretentiously fucky is THAT?

I like the "the" band names. If I ever start or join a band I will demand our title start with "the".

band names ceased being acceptable when the Bourgeoise decided everyone should be allowed to own a guitar and studio time and equipment became more valuable as a consumer commodity then the 2,015 bands forming in the States every week's music.

just say "no" to naming your band.
