Since arriving in Iqaluit I have seriously been contemplating the acquisition of quality digital photography equipment. Now I hear you all asking, what is wrong with my old Pentax SLR? Your sock is wet because your shower leaks.

Trees are good...we shall have to go for a good romp in october. A clothed walk...or it'll be too cold ;p

And it's not too hard to get into nature around here...just have to be willing to put some effort into it. Like biking to Algonquin park...c'mon, you've done it once already! the second time will be easy!! ;)

Yes, the leaky shower did thoroughly soak my sock this morning. However, I have had my shoes off all day. My shoe has a hole in the sole. Pooled water must have resoaked my sock when I walked to the beverage dispenser.

Trees are great! Need to climb a tree...yes.

Heh. I'd do it again but I'd pack lighter. Gear would consist of 5 lbs of jerky, instant coffee and a cup, a tin of waterproof matches, a large knife, a section of tarp, a length of rope, and my camera in a waterproof bag. Oh, and maybe a fishing rod and minor tackle.

you need new shoes. Perhaps another thing to add to the list of stuff to do when you visit...

Again, in October :)

Still sounds like a lot to me...but then I doubt I'd bike that far anyways.
