Thank god it's finally getting warm outside!

I got a planter for tomatos, just need to get the plant. I'm excited, I hope I don't kill it.

oo I saw a strawberry planted at target that came with everything you need. I should go back and get it. I need to empty my flower pots for my cucumbers, and just need one more pot for some peppers.

i have cucumbers too! dont you get so FUCKING excited growing stuff?

also i dont know if you have this issue but do you ever get aphids? i was getting a TON but i read about this soap

http://www.drbronner.com/DBMS/PEP.htm

it can be used for EVERYTHING

but anyway i mix it with water and spray it on my plants if i see a lot of aphids farting around..and it makes them go away. ill spray it like eveyr few days or else itll bother the plant. but its this organic shit blhblaba

basically the fats in the soap eat away at a bugs exoskeleton so it kills them and it keeps them from coming back cause they dont like the smell

ALSO if you plant marigolds at the base of a plant it keeps them from coming because they dont like how those smell either

Thanks for the advice! I've only ever grown those little yellow cherry tomatos before so I'm new to growing veggies. I'm being super lazy and am going to buy the plants that are already sprouted. I'm too impatient to wait for seeds to grow, haha.

Am I able to grow cucumbers in the long containers, or is round better?
