Thank you, training starts in a couple weeks and personal growth seems to abound in my life right now. I really want to chat sometime its been a rather long time since we last talked. peace and hugs
wow, that promotion came fast! did someone quit, or does it just happen when someone has proven that they can be relied upon?
i'm eating vegan (though not raw foods) ~every other day right now, but i'm living with 2 vegans (and 2 carnivores), so it's not difficult to tighten my eating habits a bit.
I was really taken aback by how quickly I was offered the position myself (one of the current floor managers will be moving to Washington in March). All I have heard so far from my boss and co-workers is how wonderful I am to work with so it all seems so very natural.
Your living situation seems like a nice balance. How are you liking it there?
glad to hear you found a place that you fit perfectly into and where that is appreciated.
my living situation is pretty good. i'm staying in a motel in alabama at the moment, while i work in horseshoe bend (where the battle between the creek nation and the tennesee millita, led by andrew jackson was fought, which gave him the fame to propell him into the presidency). thinks are going pretty well, even dispite my tendency towards becoming annoyed with whoever i live with (bad sign for my future). the south is kinda wierd, in general, so i don't think these parts will ultimately be my place, but i like what i do, the places i go, and the people i do it with, so life is good.
well I would not say perfectly but it is a good place for me to be at the moment
inter-personal dynamics are interesting to contend with...the more you care about the people you are living with the more personal it can feel but the more incentive to make things work. You could always become a hermit...I know I have wanted that many times in the past. The south is one of those places I have no desire to visit, I am glad though that you have had good experiences with the people. I hope it all continues to go well. What kind of restoration work are you doing?
