Today, on the first day of autumn, I saw my first snowfall in Alaska. They say that once it gets cold, it just keeps on getting colder. Until May.

Highs this week in the 40s. I'm feeling about that way.

Sounds like Wisconsin, except for we won't see snow until late Oct lol. And we're 20 degrees warmer than Alaska. So what is the coldest there?

man that even beats NYs record we ALWAYS get snow the first week of October..think its getting the message a little late though cause its already 74 degrees here something very rare for fall

Yes, there's skiiiiiiing (two i's looked strange). We have a hill on post that you can ski. Not many slopes around here though. You can try skiing Denali (aka Mt McKinley)! ;-) Visit and ice fish instead!
