is there really any mileage in this holier-than-thou stuff?Ish. I think there's mileage in being holier-than-thou if represents a real choice, for instance if the situation arises "organically" in an RPG. Much less so for deliberately creating the circumstances purely in order to "prove" the character's moral high ground
