Seems weird that they could find the money to shoot "Human Giant" in HD, but not "The Wire". That being said, Human Giant is pretty funny. Worth checking out if you like sketch comedy.

Took the red-eye home from SF on Sunday/Monday. It's definitely one of my favorite cities-- friendly people, great food, beautiful scenery. I saw Stephen A. Smith while I was walking to the dentist. He was wearing a sweatshirt with "ESPN" on the front in big letters. The dentist gave me laughing gas for the cleaning and sand blasted my teeth.

Our area at work recently got a TV. I've decided that "The View" is easily the worst show on television. They've been screaming about politics all morning. It's clear that the people who run the show have given up... one of the hosts was on camera for five minutes with half her face off the screen. The director didn't bother to fix the shot. Did anyone catch SNL last week? It was Chris Walken's 100th time hosting (according to his own count). The Q & A opening monologue was hilarious. The episode was hit-or-miss just like any SNL, but overall pretty funny.

Work birthday-- we're having cupcakes (just like 1st grade).

I was winning the office NCAA pool until Friday. The Big Ten let me down. Hard to be disappointed by State, though... Memphis was clearly much better, and the Sweet 16 is respectable. Rooting for MSU got me thinking about my days in East Lansing, so I decided to check out the Telecasters website.
