So here it is, a curtain-y, Christmas-y fic with Mac, my original character from the Time Enough series. This was written for my cotton candy bingo card, though why I started with "without makeup" is something only the voices in my head really know. Mind the label - it is just short of frothy

The Time Enough Series was one of the first ones I read when I found Torchwood (and Torchwood fandom), and it quickly became a favorite of mine. So it's just lovely to see more in that 'verse, especially including Mac! She's a terrific OC, nuanced and a great addition to the canon characters. Plus, she has a sarcastic streak in her that makes her interactions with others hilarious

Hi there! Hey, thanks so much for reading TE - that's awesome! I'm so glad you've enjoyed Mac, too - OCs are hard, especially when beloved characters have died and I know I've gone so far afield from canon.

Mac came about just because I'd wanted to immortalize Ianto, so when I went back to write Forever For You and needed a character to help Ianto in that CoE rewrite, it worked out pretty well. And, to be honest, she is a self-insert, in that she ships Jack and Ianto as much as I do ;).

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day off - and thank you for the encouragement regarding Time Enough - I love writing it and it's so nice to know that folks will still read it.
