I don't really understand that sudden population explosion, but it was pretty strange. I saw a few familiar faces, but the only one I actually engaged with was ... myself. I guess now is as good a time as any to start mopping up my flooded bathroom.

How is everyone? The city is back to normal, so I hope no one still has injuries from the last few days.

I'm curious to know what happened to the kind person that helped me back to my room before. I should give a proper thank you.

I'm part fish now. I ended up crawling into a nearby fountain. And now I finally worked up the strength to crawl back out and get my journal.

I managed to cause some birds to fall asleep when I was singing outside.

And fonons are moving again. I guess my hymns have effects again.

I went down to the store to buy a few things and found the building completely empty. Was there some sort of Avorian holiday that I'm not aware of? The doors weren't locked, so I'm skeptical.

... For that matter, the streets-- no, the city as a whole seems much quieter than usual. Odd.

I'd forgotten how difficult math was. Scientific theory is all fine and well, but abstract math still manages to stop me cold.

At least I found a quiet place to study and sing. There are sound-proof rooms in the academy, but I still prefer singing outside.
