Oh, this is just NICELY done. I think my favourite lines were:

The lines on her face are always so deep when she looks at him, like she’s made of steel and Schweitzer Allen bolts

and

Without that kiss, Michael was certain, the infirmary door would have stayed locked.

The first for the beautiful and strikingly Michael-ish simile, and the second for his grim, pragmatic realization that if he hadn't played her, the escape wouldn't have come off.

I found it thanks to msgenevieve' recommendation and it's beautiful, I liked very much!

he allows himself to think that he could have had that kind of life with her, the kind of life where she would wear his t-shirts to bed and accidentally write shopping lists on his important blueprints and sketches.

I absolutely loved this part! I hope you write more fics!

Dammit. You let me like crawl into Michael's head and let me see how he feels about Sara. Although I'm already invested in her character, it made me fall in love with her all over again. I have to go on this with the others: Michael's point of view is rare in MiSa fics, at least the ones I've read and you got him down to a notch. It was painful and beautiful and brutally honest and I loved how we delved into Michael's stream of consciousness and though he's not an innocent in all of this you feel for him and his goodness and his honourable intentions (even with their horrible consequences for Sara) are tangible.
I loved how you wrote his dilemma. He is a man considering action and consequence and though this is what makes him tick it won't keep him from regretting what his actions have cost Sara.
Boy how I love this fandom (am still a newbie) and his complex, wonderful characters. And how I love this fic for capturing Michael's complexity.
