Very basic point-and-shoot, easy to take snapshots with. However. It did not come with a driver, and there is no driver for it on the Olympus website ( Read more... )

Are you using any photo modification software??

If not, Picasa (free by Google) is pretty amazing and very easy to use... and it recognizes that you have a camera connected and all you do is hit the Import button.

Really.. how odd!

Have you tried to 'safely remove heardware' and restart your compy?

I had an issue with a card reader this weekend.. and did the above.. and was fine....

Hrmm.. it is wackly!

If you want I can bring over my laptop and see if I have some software that will do the trick. Just let me know.

can you pull the memory card out, and put it in the PC to read it?
This assumes you have a built-in reader.

Make sure the card is in the camera.

Put the camera on "playback" mode, (view your pictures).

Power the camera on, (good battery, yes?).

Plug camera into mini-usb cable. Plug USB cable into computer.

Microsoft Scanner/Camera wizard should auto config and ask you what you want to do.

(if not, almost any card reader will work, but you will have to surf down into the various directories that the camera sets up to store pictures).
