Yay, another update!

Okay, I'm gonna admit it. I totally started to tear up when I realised the kids had organised their own awards ceremony. I loved that you included the guy who made jewellery out of bottle caps :)

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how Colby meets Annie again.

Great Chapter!

Haha, of course he had to be in there! When you're given a character that is identified solely as "the guy who makes jewelry out of bottle caps", that is a GOLD MINE and you capitalize on it.

Thanks!

So much love for this one. I've often wondered about Annie's rehab experience - what it was like for her, if she made friends - so this was a nice look at a very pivotal point in her life. I liked all the OCs and the superlatives ceremony was extremely touching. I teared up a bit, too.

I'm also looking forward to Annie's future run-in with Colby, and what his impression of Jeff will be. Well done!

I ended up with a lot more OCs than I intended on, so thank god you enjoyed them! (I'm serious. I was just writing along, minding my own business, and Gia and Lenny came out of NOWHERE.)

That ceremony was one of my inspirations for this entire series, to be honest. I remember re-watching Politics of Human Sexuality when Annie said she was voted most likely to succeed at her rehab clinic and started thinking to myself, how would that even happen? That can't be a normal rehab thing. So I started brainstorming, and lo and behold, Colby was created, and this fic actually grew largely from him.

I pick my split ends too! Worst habit to kick.

This story.. just guh. It's like the ultimate love letter to Annie. I'm going to echo what _carly_ said: your idea to delve into the significant times in Annie's life through the perspectives of all these men is absolutely brilliant! Your follow-ups with glimpses of Jeff and Annie as a working couple is the icing on top. I normally can't read stories with OCs but this is definitely an exception. You cleverly flesh out your characters with just enough detail to make me care for them and understand why they do/did what they do/did. While I'm gushing I might as well mention that your ability to interweave cannon details so effortlessly is amazing.

Thank you so much for writing this! This has been such a wonderful ride so far. I can't wait to see which other men you have in store.. I have a few in mind. Let's see if my inklings are correct.

As do I! I didn't used to, but honestly doing it stops me from picking at my lips, and since hair doesn't bleed, it's the lesser of two evils. Anyway, the idea of it as kind of a "replacement vice" is what inspired me to make Annie guilty of it, and I liked the idea of the haircut before she went out into the real world, so I started building in the idea that she needed one back in the first chapter, haha.

Thank you for reading!

You took that small amount of information we had about Annie's time in rehab and you made something so beautiful and meaningful about it. I wish they would explore Annie's character in the series the way you do it!

This fic is very, very good, and I am grateful for the frequent updates :D

I love random details in literature and shows SFM, and Community does them so well that all it takes is someone with the time and willingness to suss some stuff out and make some stuff up.

The next installment is pretty much ready to go, so keep your eye out!
