2. If you're making a left turn, you really don't have the right-of-way anywhere. Don't be a dipshit.

You know, one of the things that always frustrated me in school was the extreme lack of interdisciplinary learning. It genuinely bothered me that a political science prof, an english prof, and a history prof would all have entirely different perspectives on say, Tolstoy. It permeates every level of the corporation, and the people at the low rungs of the ladder tend to get stomped the most. Summer reading
The summer after I graduated high school I read several classics (War and Peace, Crime and Punishment, some Hemingway, 1984, Lord of the Flies, etc.), for lack of anything better to do in the final month before I started at UCLA.
