I just finished Escaflowne...

..and I BAW'ed at the ending. OMFG...I hate crying and damnit, I did. The ending was so bittersweet. OMFG...

*Sigh*

It was good though, I'd recommend this show to just about anyone. But, man...I'd talk more about the spoilerish stuff, but I'm tired and I gotta work tomorrow.

Every person who finishes Escaflowne is treated to my reminiscing about the time *I* saw the final episode. Here I go:

I watched the last episode on TV in a friend's dorm nearly ten years ago. I actually thought we would have to wrestle with the residents for the remote control, but when I got there, the common room was PACKED with students already sitting down to watch it. By the end of the show, half of those present were IN TEARS and 50+ people were screaming "KISS, DAMN IT, KISS!"

Epic.

It's still my favorite anime ever.

Wow, that's awesome! And, very epic indeed. Escaflowne is definitely one of my favorites now. And, I would've been one those people screaming "KISS, DAMNIT! KISS" xD.
