So as I'm writing this I have a kitten purring on my lap. So now may say but Kisa is too old to be called a kitten, she doesn't sit on your lap, and she only purrs when she's in the bathroom sink. i love that you wrote the Kisa only purrs when she is in the bathroom sink. I love kisa. She will always be special in my book. :)

Zoey is gray striped and very adorable. I got indirectly from a humane society. She was one our junior surgery animals. There are three or four area shelters that bring us animals for the juniors to spay/neuter in order to give us experience and because they all have to be spayed/neutered anyway. I made it to the very last week without adopting, then the last week we got a bunch of cats in (they try to give us dogs since they are bigger and the surgery is a little trickier). She was our group's cat and I'm a sucker. But I figure that two doesn't make me a crazy cat lady.
