Living on acreage is just too overwhelming for me, even without any animals. I'm having a lot of trouble looking forward to Spring, because that means the snow will melt and I'll have to look at the horrifying reality again. Strong feelings of indifference, depression and a need to escape have to be continuously fought back with serious amounts ( Read more... )

Hiya! - It's been a million years! I check up on a few friends on Twitter more reliably than my email - junk mail doesn't pile up on Twitter. If you're on there, I'm "emotionalgoat" ..just can't seem to kick that persona. I'm going to try to be more persistent on LJ now though.. I hope, I hope! Sweetie, I wish I could be there to help you in some way. I'm overwhelmed by just juggling work, exercise & my small house, so I'm absolutely not the person to give you any advice or suggestions (although there must be some way to hook your donkey to a cart to haul stuff around)! I've always admired your strength, stamina and imagination, and it sounds like you're getting some ideas from "maxchaos", so hopefully once spring has stopped springing up in the basement, and you finally have warm sunny days, then the awful gloom of ND winter will fall to amnesia. So when are you moving back to CO? We love you!!
