You're very welcome :) I added you to my list...if you look back through my entries, I've got one from not too long ago that has links to a bunch of YouTube videos of the RENT cast on Broadway you might want to check out...I couldn't mention it on the other board because they are bootlegs. Check it out if you'd like.
Hey vicam, do you remember me?? You were kind enough to upload some Rent OBC videos for me. Anyway, I remember you mentioning that The Elgin Theatre would be doing the lottery for Rent tickets. And I just wanted to know how it works exactly. You seem to have a lot of insider info. ;)
I don't really have that much insider info...I just came across a person in another community I'm in who volunteers at the theatre and she has been kind enough to provide me with info.
By the sounds of what she said, I don't *think* it's going to be a lottery, but rather a rush. So you have to go and line up and the first however many people in line will get the tickets. You could always call the Elgin though and they would likely be able to confirm whether it'll be lottery or rush. If it's lottery you still line up, but just to put your name into a bin...and then an hour or so before the show they draw enough names to fill the first two rows and if you're name is drawn you get a seat.
Hey, fellow renthead here, but no where near as big a fan of rent as I am of Robbie: He's the one artist that, it wouldn't matter where it was, if he does a North American date I WILL find a way to go to it! Add me?
Sure I'll add you...and RENT fan and a Robbie-fan...that's great :) Common interests! Have you ever seen him live? I was lucky enough to see him when he came to Canada back when he released The Ego Has Landed and it was awesome...I wish he'd come back. I'd have to find a way to go too!
Thanks so much! I thought your username had something to do with flowers, but I'm glad you saw my post. Added you and sent you an email...I hope you get it.
