Poor thing. You really will be fine ... as my family keeps saying, "after Commonwealth, college's gonna be a cakewalk!" There will be lots of new people in a less tense and intense atmosphere. You will not feel the need to collapse every two weeks or so, or wish you were dead because the dead don't have homework and can finally relax (or was that just me?). You can learn all about Bio and Physics and Jane Austen, and there'll always be some people in the common room up for Settlers or Carcassonne. There will probably be someone trying to combine the two at three AM, which will lead to utterly awful gameplay but incomparable fun and bonding, followed by eating frosting. And anyone coolest to be the most original freshman at 14 is bound to be a pretty hot freshman commodity with four years of Commonwealth under his belt. Don't be afraid. Don't be too sad. Be excited -- today's the first day of the rest of your life ... no, please no, stop beating me, it's only a little cliche! Ouch!!! And I love you. J
