Michael will have surgery Thursday morning, June 14th

He has a torn rotary cup on the right shoulder -- not a good thing for anyone, but very serious for someone who does not walk. His wonderful parents, other family members, and friends will be with him throughout the entire ordeal, but I can't be there to take care of my love

Thanks. Cole's trip home from Afghanistan has been delayed indefinitely -- and Michael is in terrible pain.

And here I am in Portland, Oregon, completely incapable of helping anyone in my family, Cole, or Michael...

Some days, life is not easy.

The surgery went very well; however, Michael is in a LOT of pain. His wonderful parents are taking care of him.

Just wish I could be there to hold the one true love of my life.

Geez, everyone said that a long-distance relationship would be difficult, but I never believed it that it would be this hard.

Michael and I need to reset our priorities.
