So, I saw the Polysics play on Wednesday, and that was the best twelve and a half dollars I have ever spent or will ever spend. Polysics always takes me back to the early days of CHSR and all the great foolishness we accomplished. Did they play "Married to a Frenchman?"

And yes, Jaguar Love is quite annoying.

A lot of the stuff they played was newer than that. They seem to have been steadily productive since those early days.

The last record I remember was Neu. Hey! Bob! My Friend! seems to be the first one that came out here. I remember what a bizarre artifact that was. A brief look at their discography shows they have been busy since then, indeed. It's good they're still out there.

Judging by their appearance on a YMO tribute/remix record, one would assume they were an influence for the Polysics. I found them long after losing track of the Polysics, so never put it together. You might enjoy them (YMO), they were early synth pop guys. Japanese Kraftwerk, pretty much.

Yeeeeah.

Their albums were pretty cheap too. 12 bucks and a free poster. Dang. Wish I'd partaken. But maybe I'll seek some out elsewise.
