I got into the Oxford program, even though for some reason I referred to the Eagle and Child as the Green Dragon in my application essay (nerdiest mistake of all time).
I'm really not sure what to do about this, but I'm happy nonetheless.

I was feeling pretty sad tonight about everything and nothing (specifically: my failures as a philosophy student) and I called Taylor, who was trying to sign the names of various U.S. Presidents as she imagined they would have themselves.
