This morning I had a nightmare about being in Italy and trying to take a bus at midnight in the rain to get to Taylor, who was in Florence. I was in Venice but there weren't any canals, and I was disapointed. Then I woke up and Taylor taught me about split infinitives.

I have two internships but no paying job.
It's officially 80 degrees.
For the rest of the summer I am just going to read 19th century novels in my backyard.
IT'S SO HOT.

Oh, and this week both Joni Mitchell and the Ying Yang Twins appear in my audioscrobbler top played list. I'm not sure which is better.

I’m in the basement of the library right now trying to write my Wedding of Cana paper and instead I’m reading a Harper’s from 1861. There is a really fabulous article on Central Park with pictures. Today I spent 6.5 hours in the library writing about mosaics and catacomb paintings and sarcophagi. It was pretty intense. This year I have fallen in love with literary theory and ancient/classical/early christian art and I don't know what to do about it. It is a very dramatic love triangle.
