I believe in deity. I believe in some force beyond our comprehension, that religions have been developed around because we as a species want to define everything. I believe the religions were developed in order to satisfy the wants and needs of the time and the person, and that they evolve because the times and the people change. I do also believe that they are used by some as a tool to influence and control ( ... )

Ditto for me on all points. For me the addition would be belief in the power of balance between god and goddess. I also believe not one religion is right. We all have our own path and beliefs and one is not more right than the other, just a different path.

I believe in God, Heaven, Purgatory, Hell, etc. But I also believe that if you desire that you can be reincarnated to have another go...to get things right, etc. I'm somewhat of a fatalist, though. I just have an odd feeling that consciousness doesn't simply end at death. I don't have issue with trans-substantiation (I'm Catholic), but I believe that in many ways the original message brought to humanity by Jesus, Muhammad, the Buddha, etc. has been twisted and contorted to be obscenely self-serving to society ( ... )
