End of a long week. Today I did the preflight checklist with a real bird in the chocks. We practiced acting as the flight crew, physically preparing the air vehicle for flight, and as the Operator in the shelter, running down the checklist, making sure the software and the bird are working properly. Army Update: Hunter Class
I got chosen to fly the Hunter, which is a much bigger UAV than the one I was flying before. There are ten of us who were chosen, and apparently we were hand-picked as dudes who are trustworthy and squared away. It's cool to be picked out like that, and it's also cool to be in class with a bunch of solid dudes. I like all the other nine guys in my ( Read more... ) -
