Somebody approached me inside the office today to sell me rubber slippers for 800 bucks!

I tried to be gentle in saying, "I'm so sorry but I really have made it a matter of principle not to buy 'those' slippers."

She asked why.

Last night, after a glass of wine, I stumbled upon these insights (?):

Sometimes, we find windows that peek into dreams possibilities. The images we see, they're incomplete (like a small picture with a resolution of 72 dpi, when you zoom in, the image pixelates.)  We cannot see things in their entirety, but all the same, the images haunt us.

I had never fathomed before that "marketing" would mean literally going to the market. No, not just the supermarket, but the wet, fishy market. Well, I guess this is what is meant on the JD by  "and all other duties as may be assigned (or imposed on self) from time time".

A very recent pastime I do only on weekends is play with this computer game "Miss Management". It's a role-playing game, simulating a work environment, wherein I play the supervisor of an office and I have to delegate tasks to various people. Today is the third day that Kaisha is confined in San Pedro Hospital for an as of yet undiagnosed sickness. She's been having a tummy ache for the past five to six days already, and vomiting as well. But it isn't LBM.

Much as I had predicted, my proposal was sent back to me for downsizing. However, I feel better today because I think I've got a handle on things already and all I have to do is execute exactly what the boss wants.
