I forgot how much I love Japanese music videos!! They never cease to amaze me... This one is pretty funny (at least I think so). You have to watch the whole thing. Stop complaining! Just do it!!

My father-in-law's brand new house burned down yesterday morning. It was struck by lightening, which somehow got in the gas line, which caused a small spark that jumped to the electric system (?) and ignited the whole thing. He was able to salvage some things from the basement that were kept in a fire-proof safe, but everything else is gone. ( Read more... )

The summer is coming to a close. Katie is going back to school in Lincoln, which makes me sad. We didn't hang out nearly as much as I wanted to this summer. Our schedules simply didn't mesh. She was always working when I was off. Boo.

 Woohoo! Kevin stumbled upon a viral site for Batman: Dark Knight and got us 2 free sneak peak tickets at the Council Bluffs Imax for Tuesday night!!! Not five minutes later, they were SOLD OUT!! I am so excited!! Batman + Imax + Free + Sneak Peak = TOTAL WIN!

It's official! No more laying on the couch in my PJs until 3:00 in the afternoon, because I have started my new job! I am now an employee of Creighton University! Monday was spent in orientation, learning the history of the school, touring the campus, going over benefits and insurance, and all that other fun new-hire stuff. Then today was my first ( Read more... )
