This is my very last "beginning of the school year" at Whittier. It's always a bit odd -- there's a kind of a quiet around the campus, and because it's the end of summer everything's very warm and everyone's tired with moving their stuff in. So today I woke up very early to walk to my doctor's office (it's nice to be in walking distance of your doctor), got my blood tested and almost gave blood, but didn't.
