I do payroll. The DD at our office has been done one of two ways: automatically produce a report when run payroll, send it to bank electronically; and automatically produce a report, key into software manually, send to bank. We used to have #1, now we have #2. We have five different ways of checking the number is correct. It would seem that someone is not checking your numbers. Also, we have DD for a hundred people-- your company is much smaller!! It should be easier.
To my knowledge, no one has ever complained about getting the wrong amount or not getting paid. The only major crisis was when something happened with the bank transmission and NO ONE had their money in their accounts.

Your car is soooooooooooo pretty!!!!!!!

Thanks!

Seriously, I'm wondering if A. the accountants even specialize in doing payroll or if they're just doing it because we asked and B. if they have someone that's dedicated to doing payroll.

I mean, it's been NOTHING but trouble since day 1! They screw up vacation hours and pay rate and deductions and the deposit. It's amazing to me!

Ok.
I'll try to shoot a video of it too.
Though, it's not really exciting, just cool.

Nice car! It's so black and sleek!

Back in day, when I used to do accounting stuff, I was treated to the inner workings of doing payroll for anywhere between 250-350 employees. Yes, there were sometimes screw-ups, but not as many as you'd imagine. It is pretty easy: throw in the amount of hours worked, pay rate and deductions come up automatically, send report over to the bank and tada! people are payed! The only time we would have problems was when the president of the company was involved and didn't double check anything so the amount of hours would sometimes get screwed up. Or like what bunnycaper said, when the transmission didn't go through and no one got paid. Or when stupid people would close their bank account and open a new one and wonder why they didn't get paid.

I'm not sure.
Hopefully when he puts my license plates on.

They actually had push button start on car back in the 50s I think. But yeah, it's totally sweet.
