[Carmen stares at the incoming message, grabbing a notebook and trying to determine if it's a type of code. She quickly eliminates the easier codes, but winds up shaking her head. It's a language, which means she can't decide what the common letters are and decipher.
After a pause, she looks over her desk. Finally she picks up an empty glass, holding it up.]
If you can give me a word, what this is in that language, I can attempt to go from there.

[Killua didn't know much of English, only what he'd learned while in Adstringendum, but about a minute after Carmen finished, he typed two words - one in his own language and one in English.]
[She frowns again, looking at the shapes. While she doesn't like giving in, she has to admit that she doesn't know that language, and learning a whole new one would take a great deal of time.]
I must apologize. I do not know that one. But if you would care to come over, I would not object to attempting to learn some of its elementary aspects.

Mon italien est passable.
[Italian: "English is my native language." French: "My Italian is passable."]
I have also spoken French since I was very young. In Chinese, I know mostly sayings and curses.
