The man who gave Jane all the rum at that party told me he always drinks rum and he thinks its some kind of genetic memeory because his fathers Carribean. I suggested it might be becuase he had a bit of pirate in him somewhere, and he wasn't very impressed. Funny people, lawyers.

I'd like to be a pirate. and of course, apart from being the autumn equinox today, its also me mam and dads 36th wedding anniversary. i rang them in perth (australia) this morning, and they'd all forgotten, unaware what date it was. Honestly!! Probably a sign of their great age
