Good to be back home, Gypsy. Nine a.m. and ready to strike. I am not following the general trend. Someone has to tell that kid a thing or two.
Amazed about Starbucks.

The girl in the middle is Isis, the Great Mother. She is clothed only with her hair, which falls over her breasts in six waves, the material world, the illusion of appearances. Six means macrocosm. The crown on her head has a pentagram, which means the world of spirit, five is the microcosm. You know...tycoons know what they have in their hands.

what I find interesting about the Femme Fatal is how the ideal of her changes. Sometimes she is the bubble headed blond, other times she is powerful and smart, other times she is dangerous and can bring ruin. It all depends on what MEN fear or want at the time.
The women who have been considered temptresses over the years are all amazing in their ways, your salome, Lilith, Phyllis...poor Aristotle, Pandora who brought pain and suffreing to man, Cleopatra, Merlins Vivien, Lola Montez, Deliliah, Jean Harlow, Clara Bow, ahh the list goes on. Men are interesting creatures when it comes to their prespective of the Temptress over the ages. The Vamp the Bombshell, the Vixen, the femme fatal....
it is an interesting topic to look into.

You know my idea of femme fatale? Kathryn Hepburn in her good years. And of course, Lauren Bacall, serious, not explosive, intelligent women with a low voice, shakes.
